How to Convert and Import Sony 3D MTS to iMovie

Step 1: Launch Converter on Mac, and then click the "Add" button to load the 3D .mts videos. You can also use the drag-and-drop method to load the 3D .mts files to the application UI.

Tip: If you want to merge multiple MTS files into one for easy editing, please tick the box "Merge into one file" to merge all the imported clips.



Step 2: Click "format" column to select "iMovie and Final Cut Express--> Apple Intermediate Codec(AIC)(*.mov)" as the output format for iMovie 8/9/11.



Tip: Before conversion, you can click the "Settings" icon to customize the video/audio settings for iMovie: Please set 1920*1080 as video size, 30fps for users in NTSC area and 25fps in PAL area as video bitrate to get the best video quality.



Step 3: Tap the Arrow "Convert" icon under the preview window, and the program will start transcode Sony 3D MTS to AIC MOV for iMovie.
