"I am completely new to video editing so bear with me. I have done a little research and found that GoPro's video format uses H.265 or HEVC, which is not a good format for Davinci post processing. Converting GoPro Hero6 videos to Davinci Resolve usable format

Step 1. Install and launch the best GoPro Video Converter. Click the Add button to import your 4K videos to the program. Checking the "Merge into one file" box allows you to merge several videos into one file.

Step 2. Hit Format bar to select output format. You can choose "Avid Media Composer > Avid DNxHD(*.mov)" or "Final Cut Pro> Apple PreRes 422(*.mov)" as output format. Both are ideal editing formats for Resolve.

Tip: Click "Settings" button if you'd like to customize advanced audio and video parameters like Video Codec, aspect ratio, bit rate, frame rate, Audio codec, sample rate, audio channels.
