Convert And Import MTS to VirtualDub for Editing

"I've been googling for ages but I can't find a solution - I just want to be able to open an mts file (from an FZ38 AVCHD Lite camera) into VirtualDub to trim..."

"I just want to process my AVCHD files (.mts) taken from my Sony camcorder with VirtualDub. How can I do that? I open an .mts file with VirtualDub and it says can't detect the file."

Well, as we all know, VirtualDub can't ingest MTS files directly even with the input plug-ins. The best method to avoid any problems and save time is to transcode MTS footage into a Virtualdub most compatible format AVI.

Brorsoft Video Converter has the best balance of speed and quality. We have tried several other apps which do encode/transcode faster but either the quality is noticeably worse and/or the lack of configuration options result in video which is not acceptable.

As a professional AVCHD Converter tool, Brorsoft Video Converter allows you to effortlessly transcode MTS to edit in VirtualDub, as well as Premiere Elements, Avid Media Composer, Premiere Pro, Windows Movie Maker, Sony Vegas Pro, Pinnacle Studio and more NLEs without problems. Besides MTS, this video converter also supports any other popular video formats like AVI, MXF, MKV, VOB, TiVo, XAVC S, MP4, MOV, MPG... Download the MTS file converter and take a look at the brief guide below.
